Fuller's Earth, also called Multani Mitti, Multani Clay and Fuller’s Clay,
is a natural material excavated from the earth’s crust. Because of its
concentration of minerals and salts, it is thought to be beneficial for the
skin and hair. Fuller's Earth is the main ingredient in dry shampoo and also
in body powders. Mixed with water to make a paste, Fuller's Earth is applied
as a facial mask or body pack, usually in combination with ground herbs and
a few drops of essential oil.
