It relieves liver maladies and other digestive problems. It can also be used to relieve menstrual irregularity, muscle spasms and tension. China has used the herb to balance the organs of the body and research in Japan shows promise as a treatment for liver function. Applications: Tonic/Sedative/Anti-Inflammatory/Liver Function Tonic: Relieves symptoms associated with the common cold, chills, chest pain and fever.
